A lot of people on here have been to thailand many many times for different lenghts of time.

For those of us who have only ever done a visa on arrival for a max of 1 month im sure they including myself would appreciate

any advice on types of visa and the best ways of getting them for future trips.

The same applies for different ways of getting there and travelling round thailand

same same me niel i had a 4 day over stay (35 days) before traveling around loas cambodia and vietnam a few years back and simply had to pay something like 100 baht for each extra day at customs but think things are a bit tighter now but if you cross their border and re-enter you get i think another 15 days overland and 31 by air. but i'm sure someone will let you know or give advice.

you can go for a side trip if you want but i aint going for 13 nites and spending time travelling about !!!

the thread aint for me 2 retire[ could never afford it phil ] was supposed 2 be a sensible one for everyone to pass on tips

to each other about visa problems but never mind !!!
